Tina DeAlderete

return to bios page to view more band members

Tina joined Tropicoso in the spring of 2014, taking hold of the lead vocal chair held previously for over 10 years by Carmen Velez.

Dance is Tina’s lifelong passion, but she possesses a beautiful voice and strong work ethic that quickly won the band over.

Her professional bio includes a 5 season long run touring nationally with RHYTHM IN SHOES.

In 2008, Tina auditioned for her first professional theatrical production of West Side Story, where she was cast as a Shark girl.

She has since been blessed to be able to play 2 of her dream roles (Mimi Marquez- RENT, Diana Morales- A CHORUS LINE).

She has also performed with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra.

Tina’s passion for performing is closely followed by a joy she finds sharing what she’s learned with others.

She has extensive experience in dance education including The University of Dayton, CCM prep, and Sinclair College.

Her work has included serving as an adjudicator for dance competitions on regional and national levels for the last 5 years.

It’s not often you find such a range of talents wrapped up in one performer.

We are thrilled to have her as the newest member of Tropicoso.
